The Vertigo Summer Jazz Festival returns with its eighth edition and once again transforms the city into a stage teeming with sound. On the festival’s map we will find places that are well known and those that are less often associated with music – together creating a unique landscape in which jazz does not so much resound, as it melts with the space of Wroclaw.
This year’s edition is an invitation to travel – not only through styles and interpretations, but also through the city itself. Each point on the map is a different context and a different mood. Sometimes it will be a rooftop overlooking the skyline, other times it will be a green corner, an industrial interior or a place you pass on the run every day. It is where we least expect it that jazz begins to tell its story – vivid, fleeting, but intensely present.
The festival’s formula constructed in this way is not an accident. It is a conscious decision not to limit music to one space – but to let it wander, surprise, establish a dialogue with architecture, the movement of the city and its rhythm. In this way, jazz becomes more than a concert – it becomes a moment captured in time and place, a shared experience that will not be repeated anywhere else.
Take a look at the map and see where these encounters with music will take place this year. Vertigo Summer Jazz Festival 2025 features more than thirty concerts scattered throughout the city – and each is a separate chapter of this summer’s story. Wroclaw has never been so jazzy before.
