wrocław full of jazz from july 1 to 31

From July 1 to 31, we’re off for the eighth time with the Vertigo Summer Jazz Festival, to show once again that jazz can be listened to anywhere – not just in a club. Ahead of us are more than thirty concerts resounding all over Wroclaw – from beaches, parks and rooftops to streetcars and hotels. This is our musical journey through the city, which for this month turns into a stage in the full sense of the word.

From the beginning, we had one goal – to go out with jazz to the men and women of Wroclaw. This festival was born out of the need to share music more broadly – and we see that it works. Jazz leaves the club halls and goes out into the city – it surprises, breaks habits, appears where no one expects it.

In this year’s program we have prepared many unique events. The festival will be inaugurated by a concert by the Sebastian Lobos Trio in our jazz streetcar. On the Dali Island, as part of the “Daliowe Melodie” series, a different artist will perform every Sunday, and it will be opened by the Natalia Szczypuła Jazz Quartet – a vocalist considered by many to be one of the most beautiful voices on the Wroclaw scene. Gentle Summer Vibes will appear in the South Park with a relaxing summer repertoire. And on the roof of the Monopol Hotel will play the Kamila Walczak Sextet – these are just a few of the many concerts we have prepared. Each day we invite you to a different place, with a different sound and a different atmosphere.

Wroclaw – full of jazz – becomes our common guide through the rhythmic backstreets of the city. The festival center, our home – Vertigo Jazz Club & Restaurant – remains a permanent fixture and the heart of the events.

We invite you to a world where every concert is an encounter with the energy of the city and an opportunity to hear Wroclaw anew. Sit down with us, listen, get carried away – maybe even fall in love with the music. And then come back – every year, in July, right here – to us.
