Just a few days ago we began our musical journey, and already nine unique events of the Vertigo Summer Jazz Festival are behind us. Each of the concerts attracted crowds of jazz lovers.
We started our jazz adventure in an original way – with an atmospheric ride on the Jazz Tram, which filled the streets of Wroclaw. A day later, at a breathtaking sunset, the roof of the Monopol Hotel turned into a stage full of emotions – on it Kamil Walczak Sextet performed, enchanting the audience with subtle arrangements and energetic improvisations.
The following days brought even more musical rapture. In the elegant space of the Art Hotel we heard Rafal Karasiewicz Organ Team, the atmosphere was unique. On Friday, the stage of the Vertigo Club was taken over by the Pawel Palcowski Quintet, serving the audience an evening full of classic jazz.
The weekend belonged to the urban outdoors. The weather spoiled us, and the sunshine over South Park and the charming Dali Island added to the concerts.
On Tuesday we opened the festival week not only with music, but also with art – the opening of a photography exhibition of talented photographers was very popular. This event was highlighted by an atmospheric concert by the Kasia Berger Jazz Trio, which completed the magical atmosphere of the evening.
Yesterday’s concert at Concordia Design was further proof that the Vertigo Summer Jazz Festival goes straight to the hearts of listeners. The space was filled to the brim, and the music was still in the air long after the last encore.
Ahead of us are the next days full of jazz, emotions and artistic sensations. Thank you for being with us – that together we create this unique festival. See you at the next concerts.
