Last Friday something absolutely unique happened – Vertigo Swing Orchestra won the First Prize of the prestigious 54th Traditional Jazz Festival “Old Jazz Meeting -Zlota Tarka” in Ilawa!
This event is a great honor for us, and also proves that it is worth fighting for your dreams – no matter how many years you spend perfecting your passion.

The “Old Jazz Meeting” festival is a true legend on the map of Polish jazz. For more than half a century, the best musicians and bands performing traditional jazz – from New Orleans classics to swing and ragtime – have been coming to Ilawa.
“Zlota Tarka” is the highest award of this festival,a symbol of mastery, passion and fidelity to the spirit of jazz. The award is given by a professional jury of renowned musicians, critics and experts.

This award is not only the success of the Vertigo Swing Orchestra. It is proof that dreams are worth cherishing and realizing step by step. It is also confirmation that we have excellent musicians in Vertigo – full of passion, creativity and dedication to the art.
