Return of blues legend on May 8 in Vertigo

On May 8, OLD BREAKOUT, a unique project that pays tribute to one of the most important bands in the history of Polish music – the legendary band BREAKOUT, founded by Tadeusz Nalepa, will perform on the stage of Vertigo Jazz Club & Restaurant.
Join us for a journey back in time to the golden years of Polish blues-rock, performed by musicians who created the genre at its roots. OLD BREAKOUT is a reactivation of the spirit and sound that inspired generations, featuring members of the original lineup.

It all began in 1970, when Tadeusz Trzcinski, at the request of Tadeusz Nalepa, assembled a lineup to record an album that forever changed the face of Polish blues – the legendary “Blues Breakout” album.

In Vertigo we will hear a line-up that combines blues tradition with new energy:
Tadeusz TRZCIÑSKI (Breakout) – mouth harmonica
Maciej Bogusław KUBICKI (Breakout) – bass guitar
Marcin KO£DRA – vocals, guitar
Slawek BURAKOWSKI – guitar
Łukasz BILIÑSKI – drums

It will be an evening filled with strong sound, emotion and respect for the history of Polish blues.
