Medal from the President – an exceptional award for Vertigo

It was an evening full of emotion, music and prestigious recognition. During the celebration of the 10th anniversary of Vertigo Jazz Club & Restaurant, the Mayor of Wroclaw, Jacek Sutryk, honored us with the medal “Merito de Wratislavia – Meritorious for Wroclaw” and a congratulatory letter. This is a great honor for us and proof that passion, commitment and love for jazz are noticed and appreciated by the authorities and residents of the city.

In a decade of operation, Vertigo has become one of the most important centers of musical culture in Wroclaw. Our club is not just a concert space – it is a place to meet, inspire, develop artists and build a community centered around jazz music. Countless concerts, workshops, thematic events and meetings with artists have created a history that is still being written. During the anniversary evening, there was no shortage of memories, emotions and words of appreciation among the invited guests. Many of them emphasized the important role Vertigo plays in shaping the music scene in Wroclaw and how much it means to the artistic community, but also to the audience that has been faithfully visiting us for years.

Thank you to everyone who was with us that evening – Guests, Artists, Friends and our wonderful Audience. It is thanks to you that Vertigo has the soul and energy to continue creating.
This medal is not only our success – it is a joint achievement of the entire community that loves jazz.
