10 years of Vertigo – a week full of music, emotions and surprises

Ten years. That’s how long it’s been since Vertigo Jazz Club & Restaurant opened its doors to everyone who loves jazz, art and good meetings. To mark the occasion, we organized a special birthday week – full of concerts, premieres and artistic events that will stay in our memories for a long time. It was a time to celebrate not only our history, but most importantly – the relationships we have built over the years with you, our Audience.
We started the celebration with the birthday burlesque “Movie Stars”, which transported us to the world of the golden era of Hollywood – sensual, glamorous, full of glitz and a bit of playfulness. In the following days, the excitement did not subside. We had the great pleasure of presenting the premiere performance of a new band – Vertigo Dreamers, led by Wojtek Deren.

A special highlight of the celebration was a concert by Urszula Dudziak, an artist who has been delighting international audiences for years with her energy, charisma and unique style. Her performance was like a journey through the history of jazz, but with a modern, surprising twist. The audience – as usual – was enchanted.
It is moments like these that we love improvised art for. Our pride, the Vertigo Swing Orchestra with Anna Nguyen, was not to be missed on stage either. It was a concert full of elegance, classic swing arrangements and incredible energy that gripped the entire hall.
The grand finale – dancing rhythms of Cuban Latin Jazz and an energetic performance by the Vertigo Band – a group composed of musicians associated with the club for years, headed by Natalia Szczypula.

Thank you – our Guests, Artists, Friends, Partners – for these 10 wonderful years. For every evening together, for every concert, for all the conversations at the bar and shared moments with music in the background. It is thanks to you that Vertigo is more than a club – it is a place with a soul, which is alive with passion and good energy.

We look forward to many more years of playing, listening and experiencing together.
