Cocktails of the famous – cocktail workshop

Have you ever wondered what cocktails accompanied great figures in moments of relaxation or creative inspiration? Now you have the opportunity not only to find out, but also to make them yourself! Join us for a unique cocktail workshop, during which we will discover the secrets of the favorite drinks of celebrities.

Under the guidance of an experienced bartender with years of experience, you will prepare five cocktails that have won acclaim among pop culture and political icons:

Hemingway Daiquiri – a favorite cocktail of Ernest Hemingway, who often enjoyed it during his stay in Cuba.

Martini – a classic drink made popular by James Bond, though shaken, not stirred.

Old Fashioned – a cocktail popular with many famous figures, including President Harry S. Truman.

Negroni – an elegant drink that has gained recognition among artists and writers around the world.

Jack Rose – a somewhat forgotten but unique cocktail that was a favorite of John Steinbeck.

During the workshop you will learn the stories behind each of these cocktails, what ingredients and techniques are key to their excellent taste, as well as what modifications were made by their famous lovers themselves.

Note: We will be tasting all the cocktails as we go, so get ready for an evening full of unique taste sensations!

Event details:

• A 2-hour bartending workshop for beginners;
• Preparation of 5 cocktails under the guidance of professional bartenders with years of experience and their tasting;
• specially selected hors d’oeuvres, served sequentially, to each of the cocktails being prepared,
• Cocktail recipes that were prepared during the workshop sent electronically to each participant;
• Two invitations for each participant to future events at Vertigo Jazz Club & Restaurant.
